Our Hike-a-Thon event is taking place August 25-27 2023 and we would love for you to join us! The event will be a walk-a-thon format, where participants register with a small entry fee, and pledge to hike or walk a certain number of miles. Individuals or businesses can then sponsor them for a specific dollar amount per mile ($1, $5, $10, etc.) Once you have registered and gotten a sponsor, the fun really starts!
The event will run from Friday, August 25th through Sunday, August 27th. You can hike any or all of the days during the event. Hit your favorite trails, bike paths, or running loops, solo or with friends and family, and start racking up those miles! When the event ends, we will have an online drawing with prizes. EVERYONE who hikes is automatically registered to enter.
The registration fee is $10 for junior hikers (16 and under), $20 for individual hikers and $40 for Families. All proceeds will go to further the vital assistance and outreach that Helping Hands of Haywood is proud to offer our local community. To get started, simply register below!
